How Can YOU Make an Impact?

Day for GPA presents a great opportunity for psychologists and mental health advocates across Georgia to come together to advance the profession of psychology throughout the state of Georgia. Here is how your donation will make an impact:

  • General Fund-Georgia Psychological Association
The GPA Office is in constant need of upholding the mission through public education and outreach, continuing education and advocacy. This year we are planning to use any donated funds for updated technology that will enable us to better serve our members and the public.
  • Political Action Committee (Georgia Psychological Association)
GPA continues to be the only organization that advances the interests of psychologists in the Georgia state legislature. A critical role that psychologists supply in this process is through their contributions to GPA's legislative efforts in the state capital. By funding the GPA Political Action Committee (PAC), you are strategically supporting the elected state representatives and senators who support the best interests and welfare of psychologists across the state of Georgia. Your donation to the PAC plays a key role in fueling a legislative agenda that benefits you.
  • Georgia Psychological Foundation
The Georgia Psychological Foundation raises funds for education, scholarships and grants, research and conferences for psychologists and psychology students. Its goals are to support advancing the skills of psychologists, and contribute to the psychological health and well-being of the public throughout the state of Georgia. Support from the Foundation will benefit groups such as Early Career, Diversity, Public Education, Disaster Response Network, and Psychology in the Workplace Network.
