DEVELOPING YOUR INTERSTATE TELEHEALTH PRACTICE UNDER PSYPACT

Workshop Description: 

Along with staff from ASPPB, this workshop will cover the basics of the PSYPACT Bill’s provisions, definitions and credentialing and what you need to know and do in preparation for enrollment.  Participants will also be able to brainstorm about practice models. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the provisions, processes and definitions of the PSYPACT legislation.
  2. List details of what is needed from petitioners in order to begin the credentialing process for the ePassport and IPC.
  3. Design models for Interstate Telehealth practice under PSYPACT.

      CE Hours: 3 

      Level: Intermediate

      About the Presenters:

      Presenters are experienced in the delivery of workshops on practice models and the details of the PSYPACT legislation.  The ASPPB presenter also works on a daily basis with licensure Boards and psychologist credentialing.  The other presenter has over 35 years of experience as a practicing psychologist and administrator, and has worked at as a SME at the National Center for Telehealth and Technology, a Center of Excellence for the Department of Defense.

       

      *If a GPA Student Member needs continuing education credits, he/she will need to pay the higher GPA Member fee regardless of status as a student.

       

      Cancellation Policy:
      All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Hannah Steinberg via email (admin@gapsychology.org). A $15 cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellations prior to July 19, 2019. No refunds will be given after July 19, 2019.
